I was taking my intake apart to clean some stuff, and I noticed something that made me wonder... On my BAT intake pipe, the largest inlet (towards the EGR) is not completely open where it is welded to the pipe itself. It almost appears that the inlet was completely closed off from the pipe itself, and then a quarter-inch size hole was drilled to let the air pass through. The opening is probably half the size of the inlet itself. Is this correct, or should I drill it out to be the full size of the inlet? It's been this way for years, and I guess I never noticed. Thanks in advance.
