Yes, it does.

Locate your EEC test connector under the hood. Locate the BK/O wire. That wire connects to a point between the PCM output (a "ground" to turn the CEL lamp on) and the CEL in the cluster.


With KOEO, measure voltage. Should be battery voltage.

YES - momentarily jumper to ground. CEL should turn on.

NO - Open circuit between VIP test connector and bulb in cluster or loss of supply voltage to bulb.

If jumpering the pin to ground turns on the lamp, then either there is an open circuit between the PCM and the test connector or the output driver in the PCM has failed.
