OP ellmers95 CEG\'er E Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 325 MN, SSP	Well I got some new codes from the computer 335 and a 332 and now there is a knock from the motor when you let off the gas. Could this be because of the codes or is the motor due for a rebuild now?? If the motor is due for a rebuild I am parting out the car. Its a 95 Mercury Mystique with the 2.5 v6 and a 5 speed trans

OP ellmers95 CEG\'er E Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 325 MN, SSP	Well what do you mean unless I am mixing water and gas?? It sounds like it possibly could be a rod knock but thats why I gave the codes I got from it and like I said it does it when the rpm's are coming down after reving it.

I think Pete is right... Your codes are 332 (R,M) EGR did not open/respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittantly 335 (O) EGR feedback signal is/was out of range Sounds like you need a new EGR value... Very well could clear up your problem.. Also try a bottle of Fuel stabilizer... Something that is designed to eliminate water from the gas tank and so on... Couldn't hurt...
