It's hydraulic.

If you think it feels like the clutch isn't fully disengaging, bleeding the clutch may help. If the fluid is old and crummy, you would benefit from changing it. The clutch shares the fluid resevoir with the brake master cylinder. There is a hose on the left side that goes down to the clutch master.

The slave cylinder is inside the bell housing, but the bleed port is on the top of the bell housing. At least for the first time access is easier if you remove the air intake tube between the air filter and the throttle body.

If it's time to flush the fluid, do the brakes at the same time.
