I dremmeled mine out. Took some time and made a HUGE mess with all the little plastic sawdust turds. I permanently glued the two halves together and am in the process of filling/sanding. Then I'll mount the mesh to the very back. The cut out part of the grill isn't going to be smooth, so if you leave it showing you'll need to fill. I decided against sandwiching the mesh between the two halves of the grill because I like the deep look on mine. I'll post pics when it's done.

yeah that might work but I wanted to do something better, more profetional looking then using zip ties. IMHO using screws is alot cleaner looking and more secure. Although as it has been pointed out you might not notice anyway. I still need to go back with touch up paint and paint the screw heads to give it that final touch.

Looks good. I agree I used zip ties no need for drilling.

Looks nice mang. I would drill out the black bars (you'll see what I mean when you take the grille off). There's a few spots on the back where you can drill out and the bar piece will come right off. Ask Josh (pole120) about it.

i wanna see what u did. i did the sandwich mesh and there is a lil gap. would love to know what it looks like deep back in the grill..
