Exactly. I understand not knowing about the contour. Like its been said, it hasn't been produced for 6 years. But if you are selling a product, in this case a car, you should have at least some general knowledge about them. Power, price, mpg, trim should be general knowledge to a salesmen.
[rant on] In continuing with a rant, my local ford dealership sucks too. And I'm not even talking about the salesmen approach, but the mechanics. When I bought my svt, the shift tower on top of the tranny broke about a week after I got it. Sure enough, the dealership (not ford) that I bought it from covered it under warranty, and they sent it to the ford dealer. After waiting twice as long as I should have (they ordered the wrong parts) I recieved my car back and just a day or two later, it had its second trip to the ford dealership, because upon disassembly and inspection of the tranny, they didn't tighten something down well enough and a part went launching through my tranny case. Friggen rediculous. No doubt this is the same dealership that 2 year prior to my problem, blew the engine on my cousins Cobra doing a simple recall on it, because they dropped something into the block (somehow) and didn't feel the need to retrieve it. Some places... [/rant off]
