Today I went with a friend to check out an 06 Mustang for him. A younger guy came up and started the usual questions, talking about financing and all that crap when my friend asked a question about HP in the mustang. The salesman said he didn't know in some odd way and I kinda thought he didn't know much about cars but hey, this is a ford dealership and he should know this question I had for him. I pointed at my car and asked him what it was. He said with some hesitation, "well, um...its a GT Escort isn't it?" Then I lightly went off on him about working at FORD and not knowing about the Contour or SVTs for that matter. I asked him if he knows anything about cars and his response was well I do own a 95 Mustang GT. I asked him if we could get a smarter salesman and that I couldn't believe our only Ford dealership had come to this. I guess the article about the SVT division in this months Car and Driver was right "SVTs will now be sold in dealerships where the people working there can't tell the difference between boost pressure and tire pressure"

I'm done with my rant now, continue with your daily routine
