Keep a hair dryer handy to warm the vinyl and help it stretch. Just be very careful not to overheat it. Dryer on high, 3-4 inches away, for 2-3 seconds should heat it sufficiently to allow a little stretching and conforming. If you get any sizeable air bubbles in the vinyl, a needle or straight pin will allow you to puncture the bubble and squeeze out the air. Small pinhole bubbles will bake out in the heat and sun over time.
Lastly, well firstly really, MAKE SURE ALL WAX IS REMOVED FROM THE SURFACE YOU'RE APPLYING THE VINYL TO!!!!! I can't stress this enough. If you want longevity from your mod, it needs to be adhered directly to the paint, not to the wax.
Good luck and please post pics!!!
