I've had Sirius for several years now. I love it. I disconnected my power antenna more than a year ago and don't listen to regular radio at all.
My wife also has Sirius in her car and listens to it more than regular radio, but she still listens to a couple local stations from time to time trying to win concert tickets.
I have listened to XM a few times (mostly in rental cars while traveling) and really did not care for the programming. The "Big '80s" channel on Sirius totally blew away the "comparable" XM offering, which is a big deal for me since I listen to that about 2/3 of the time.
Oh, and Stern's arrival on Sirius didn't matter to me. I had it long before he showed up and I have yet to listen to either of his channels. Jimmy Buffet's "Margaritaville" is another story...
live Buffet concerts and other great music, it is a good thing.
