do yourself a favor and take 10 minutes to remove the amber reflector in the housing...than the bulbs would look much better

Please don't. IMHO, from a distance it looks ok, but up close it looks unfinished/something's missing.

Why is that?
They look like little gay pride parades.

how good do those silver star 9005 work in the low beam? i heard that moisture can get in there. i think im going to get rid of my silverstars and go with the jc whitney xenon once i get my new headlights. the jc whitmey xenon bulbs are pretty good. i had them on my mr2 with a h-4 conversion kit and they were nice. 80 watt low 100 watt high. ive seen a few posts in the archives that mentioned them too. the regular silver star 9006 is a joke i cant even tell my headlights are on at times because every kind of light at night over powers them. but my high beams are real bright. they shine pretty high up too.

ten minutes? ... am i missing something
-- i have straight up blue turn signals in the front, they dont reflect 67 shades of gay either--- just straight blue- apparently are illegal but i never have problems with them, they do kinda seem a bit tacky as well but, i'm too lazy to find new ones and i hate regular orange so.. who knows, maybe i'll find a bright white one

I agree with you pete, the slots and the cutaway section look like something is DEFF. missing.
If I would have painted my reflectors while i was in there with the projectors, i would have filled all that area in with fiberglass or something to smooth it out. But ALAS I wanted chrome!

In mine, I have teh Silverstar lowbeams and fog lights, teh cool blue turn signals, and hyper white high beams. I really like the outcome. Fogs are brighter, lows look alot nicer (I still need to get rid of that moisture) highs are bright as hades, and turns are blue at daylight and white at night. The only things I don't like are the fact that the lowbeams make the fogs look a little dim and the signals look a bit dim also as compares to teh silvers.
