Though reading thread after thread, i've come to an apex. Ford and Magnacor both seem to have a 50/50 split with members on this site. Magnacor seem to only work with certain spark plugs due to fitment.Ford, from what i've gathered either work or don't. Are there any ignition wires that have been proven 100%? I know Autolites, FMS, and Taylor have been mentioned but with no real feedback. Another question tickling my curiousity pertains to the spark plug themselve's. I've heard and have been told ( from certified mechanics )that the four ground electrodes can at times actually run too hot. Which can cause minor problems. I love bosch and NKG. Motocraft is pretty good as well. I know some sparks run better with certain wires or vise versa. Anyone here ever do some realtime analysis between the brands and set up's?

Well, here's more feedback:

Autolite wires - professional series. I've used them with great success and so have several other CEGers. I've only seen one or two reports of bad wire sets. I've used them with Autolite plugs and the Motorcraft single plat plugs.

Plugs: Bosch don't seem to run well in the Duratec. The Motorcraft double plats or Autolite double plats have been proven many times to work especially well & trouble free. I like NGK as well, but have never used them in a Duratec. To my knowlege, few CEGers have ever used them. Can't help you on that one.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
