In America, we live in a bubble, hooray!

I can't believe that people actually feel this way. If people are referring to local news stations, that's one thing. But getting information on what's going on around the world should be a part of everyday life in my opinion.

edit: Perhaps I should be more specific, TV news stations are pretty much garbage the majority of the time since when they report on idiotic topics there's no way around it besides switching the station. Reading newspapers/online papers is a lot better since you can pick and choose what you want to read about.
