The only issue with the plastic cleaners/polishes is that they rehaze.
I clearcoated a 95 Accord and they still look great.

I agree. While the work you guys have done to your headlights look great, its not gonna last.
Sandpaper and clearcoat is the best method, IMO.

I was thinking as much, but as it as buffing it was (or it looked and felt like) shaving the lens. After I did the first one the light felt smooth while the other one was kind of bumpy.

I just did the wet-sand & polish method to one of my headlights today (passenger side) and it turned out awesome (relatively speaking). Granted, mine weren't as bad as some I've seen (another CSVT that lives a few blocks away has nearly opaque yellow ones ), but the results were worth it. I just followed the How To at the top of this particular forum and it worked like a charm. I'll get around to doing the other one tomorrow and maybe I'll get a chance to do the fog light lenses as well. Oh, and I polished it up with Meguiars PlastX in the end so it's super smooth, but I may apply a few coats of Zaino to them when I'm all finished. Anyway, I posted some pics of the before & after here: http://community.webshots.com/album/415731415LtJLOs

I de-hazed mine at the end of March. I took before and after pics, but my digital camera was stolen out of my car that night. I used the wet sanding method, and boy does it work! They were hazed to near opacity, and now they're nearly crystal clear. Pass. side still has a touch of hazing that wouldn't come out, but it's negligible.

Yep, that's where it is. Well, there's a link to it in there to be specific. However, here's the link anyway in case you can't find it for some reason:
Headlight De-hazing How To!
Anyway, I did the driver's side headlight this afternoon and it turned out pretty good too and is on par with the passenger's side now. I didn't bother taking any pics as it's rather pointless. In the next day or two I'm going to try to do the fog light lenses as well, but they probably won't stay very nice looking for long since they're so close to the ground. I'll take some pics when they're all done. Man, it's nice to have the headlights looking nice like the rest of the car.
