I've done Mistu Eclipses, and those were relatively easy. The filter is easily accessible. I put my Tour with this one Kia, I forget which one it is, but it is hard to get to.

Oh, well. The important thing is that it's done, right?

Is my car for sale? PM me if you're in South FL.

Changing the oil filter on a Zetec is no picnik either. Once you figure it out, it isn't too bad, but it looks like a real challenge.

I've had much harder oil filters to remove than the one on the v-6 Contiques , that's for sure . As someone mentioned , the Impreza's filter is a cakewalk , which is nice for my bro .
On my CSVT , I remove the plastic splashpan (under the nose) when I change my oil . It only takes 1 minute to remove it with a torx-driver , and gives more room for your hands up there . When I'm done , I always spray down the engine/oilpan/exhaust with cleaner to get rid of any spilled/dripped oil , screw the splashpan back up (after I wipe it down ) & I'm done .

Hardest I have worked with is a Cavalier, I have seen people quit their jobs over those.

Easiest is my mothers Camry. Just try not to get burned by the exhaust manifold, and reach right in front of you

Me too, I think it was called cycling, like when it gets low, top it off and your good till it's low again and it works itself out in the end

I actually think the oil filter location the V6 is not bad at all. No complaints here.

Easiest I've done so far though is my moms 02 Galant. Takes me a little over 15 mins to change the oil, and that's with ghetto Ford and Mitsubishi jacks and crappy tools.
