I wonder if that is the throttle hang problem, anybody care to add their experiences? My old Lebaron GTS did that a little, if I was getting off the expressway and let off the gas, neutral gear. My SHO doesn't seem to do that, my sister's 1995 Mystique does do that free revving but below 2500 rpm. If you put it in gear, engine slows down right away.
