I've searched for this but couldnt find anything, but i cant tell if my 99' SVt is before or after the cut-off date. i remember it being said that there are 2 versions of the 99's before March 3rd and after March 3rd or something like that. Without sending off for that certificate to see when my car was made, what can i look at to see if the car was pre or post March whatever the date?

Do you mean the cut off date for 98?, as in to tell if you have an E0? That only applies to 98 model years.

Call 1-800-svt-ford (it may be 1-800-for-dsvt) but they can tell you the build number/born on date for your car. all you need, the last six digits of you VIN.

Open the hood and look at tthe fuel rail. 1 or 2 lines going into it? 1 line it's a late 99 w/ returnless.

Ding ding! two lines going in to the fuel rail, in to two seperare couplers (and a Fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail just after that coupler) is a return style, or early 99.
