It is actually the sturdiest filter I have come across. That black webbing you commented on is actually a sturdy metal mesh....it has no play what so ever.

Meh. According to tests they let a bit more dirt in, but nothing noticeable. And nothing that will harm the engine. Not saying the foam filter is bad (I just don't like the idea of them), but a k&n is not bad either.

Actually, K&N let a lot more dirt into your engine according to those tests. All i'm saying is that I paid less for my True Flow filter than I would have paid for a K&N filter and it will keep more dirt out of my engine. On top of that, it is a cylindrical filter rather than a cone filter which is a plus too.
