Actually....True Flow filters are one of the best filters out there. It is incorrect to say that foam filters will not last long. In fact, this will filter longer and better than any K & N filter out there. If for some reason this filter did become worn out, it has a life time warranty. The thing you should keep in mind is that surface filters such as K & N let a ton of dirt into your engine which is how they claim such great horsepower gains since they are free flowing. When they get dirty they are pretty ineffective. Each time you clean a K & N you are washing away part of the filter....this is not the case with a foam filter (at least not the case with a True Flow). Check out
