I traded mine in on Sunday for an '01 GT. The Contour is a black E0 with 49,4xx on it. It has H&R's on it, Knu Koncepts 4 gauge amp wiring kit and Awia head unit. A friend of mine said it was already up for sale(I detailed it before I took it there). It is at Green Valley Ford in Fairfield. I don't know what they are asking for it, but if anybody is interested I will tell you what they gave me for it offline.

Three reasons I guess:1)0% financing, 2)dwindling resale value on the Contour, and 3)I always wanted a Mustang. The Contour was a blast to drive, but straight line racing was never it's strong point. I understand that the Mustang isn't the fastest car out there, but it is the car I've always wanted. I loved the Contour, but I felt it was time to cut my losses. When I bought the Contour in '98, I thought it would hold it's resale due it's exclusivity. Boy, that sure wasn't true.
