Has anyone had this happen to them? I was coming back from an hour workout. I sat down in my seat, and it was completely all the way back. I have power seats, so I want to think I might have done something to make it move all the way back.

Anyone ever have this happen to them? Or anyone have a reason why this could have happened?

Happens all the time . Before leaving the car or just before going in, when I am outside the car, I reach in to grab something on the passenger seat and accidentally push the knob without realizing it. Only later do I realize, oh yeah, there was this whirring sound when I was reaching for the file (or gym bag ) on the passenger seat.

When I get out of mine, sometimes I bump the button for the seat with my calf. I bet that's what happened.

I had that "problem" in my old truck once too, but it turned out to be my co-workers messing with me. They took a set of my keys once, and they would move the seat, or turn up the stereo, or move it in the airport parking lot. The joke finally culminated with them putting it for sale for way too cheap on my front lawn while my wife and I were on vacation. She was none-too-happy!

My Fiance had a similar 'problem' in the Mystique. We used to keep the snow brush down beside the seat, and once she got in a closed the door, the door pushed the brush onto the button and the seatback would push her into the steering wheel.

We don't keep the snowbrush there anymore
