For a portable (even though its mainly for in house use and occasionally car rides) wouldnt a closed design be better?
i've heard good things about the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO... but they are slightly out of my limit. they sell for $100
better you mean for sound quality? or durability, or just not sharing your music with your neighbors?
sound quality is really really good. your neighbors definitely can hear the music though.
now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times.
now I'm hunting for a motorycle.
