Are you planning on doing anything with the seats at all? I've been thinking about redoing the middle part of my cloth seats black and this seems like it may be the item to use.

I might get a pair of seats from the junkyard to try it out on, but I probably will be gettin leather seats instead.

Be careful when you use it for something like a seat. The dye can and will wear off. You dont need that on your clothes.

that's my fear of trying it on the seats.

actually this stuff does rock,i did my whole interior on my 89 probe turbo...dont waiste your time on the seats,i had to end up pulling them and using jean and fabric dye from the local whatever you call it store,i pulled every plastic piece out from the rear hatch to the door sills, window sill, carpet in the trunk, inside, door panels, dash, center console...looked great, and didnt wear off the carpet either, but if you use it on the seats, because of the nature of the foam underneath the seat covers it just soaks right in

What if you pull off all the seat upholstry, wash it, spray, then let dry properly?

Like you said in another thread...my interior is so bland...I'm trying to spruce it up on a budget.

The labor involved in stripping and re-skinning the seats would far outweigh any cost savings you would see. It's a pain in the ass...especially if you don't have a powered hogring gun.

really? I thought I read in another thread that it's fairly straight forward...like a 15-20 minute job to get a cover off.
