OK went to Mirko Racing to go get the new front spoiler, it's installed, looks great, will paint this week, it comes in black or white fiberglass. Install was easy took about an hour with a few household tools.
The bigger news Mirko has been holding out on us. He has a whole crap load of stuff for our car. His racing season ends next month and he is going to begin production of a lot of stuff this winter.
1. New hood, carbon fiber, but it can be gel coated to paint on so it matches the car. Solid carbon fiber not, just laid on top for looks. Vented over the air filter, and he is coming up with a new filter design, sort of like the stock air box but it is larger and it sealed snug against the hood right under the vent. You can us your stock air system but his new one is going to be design to work with the hood. Best part 350 to 400 bucks, without new air filter set up. I got dibs on the first one already, so don't even try it!!!
2.Deck lid(trunk)carbon fiber with a spoiler, told him I didn't think this would be too popular but who knows. Same price 350 to 400 without spoiler.
3.Brake kit, four piston, anodized like his intake, 12 in rotors in front, croos drilled slotted whatever you want. Less than bear but no price yet.
4. Headers, he has a set on the race car and he wants to put them into production.
5. Race cam, pistons rods, and all the internal stuff in his race engine he can get if you want.
6.Coil over kit, which makes you stock struts adjustable, no price.
7. Sweet control arms and other suspension goodies.
8. His own exhaust which I think is going to be true duel but not sure.
9. He has dyno now 100 bucks an hour.
10 Last a fully intagrated computer system that has given a proven 15 to 20 percent increase in horse power on top of whatever mods you already have. Down side 1400 bucks installed, sort of like fast and furious stuff but you don't get to keep the lap top for the weekend races.
Lastly, most of us have been there and we now it is only a group of about half dozen guys. So I posted this so everyone would know what was coming up. But lets see to be blunt the more time they have to spend replying to e-mail and answering questions on the phone, the less time they have to get our stuff into production. So I told them I'd keep in touch with them. If you guys are cool with this runs all your opinions and question though me and I'll get them to Mirko and get your questions answered. That way when this gets out passed the nor cal group to the rest of the contour world, they won't have a million emails and the phone won't be ringing off the hook. Thanks guy Marcus
