OP ikarius_svt Member I Joined: May 2001 Posts: 45 Redwood City, CA	Today I went to SVTOA meet at Apex motorsports, and participated in an SVT owners show, and dyno'd my car. Came out to make 259.9 HP and 200 ft/lbs torque. Those are at the wheels, so I'm prolly making around 290. The other SVT folks, about 30 in all, were all lightning and cobra owners, but they liked my car- they voted it 2nd in the "modified" category, which was most of the cars there. We should get more folks to go and make fun of the stangs Anyhow, now that some of you have seen (and felt) my tour, I wanted to give you the hard numbers! --Ross

(which would be the 20% loss) The answer: 249.6 Wheel hp = Crank hp - parasitic loss = Crank hp (100%) - 20% = 80% = 259.9 IF 80% = 259.9 100% = 259.9 x 100% / 80% = 324.875 hp Water Injection... 1_dup1 Member 1 Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 753	I think 18% loss is the more correct number (which is where the 1.2 comes from - actually is 1.219512.....) 82%(x) = 259.9 .82x = 259.9 x = 259.9/.82 x = 316.95 to check, 316.95 - 18%(316.95) = 316.95 - 57.05 = 259.9 ATW -or- 82%(316.95) = 259.9 No matter how you do it, the diff is wheter you use 18 or 20 percent loss.
