Okay, so I'm new to this board but not new to search...
I'd like to start a thread to discuss the whole dash warp fix that I currently am experiencing on a 99 Contour.
I haven't managed to find an updated or 100% accurate dash warp fix thread that either has new photos or a fix for the particular problem I'm still experiencing. So I have seen a couple things to point "noobs" in the right direction! Definitely no step by step instructions let alone a finished shot of the final product.
The one fix I saw was not clean and the other was for the dash area at the front of the speedometer cluster. I had not heard of this, but figured it's all the same glue that has come up but I'm looking for the front defroster vent "OEM" fix that Ford offers. The one thread I found for this has only bad links for the pictures. I'll gladly host photos of any pix if anyone has them of the final product, or anything related.
Has anyone done this fix recently that can provide some step by step or rough instructions? And even finished product photos or a shot of the kit parts and pieces would be great. Just trying to help out the new and old members so it doesn't come up again. Let's do this!
