It's $40,000 for a new GT500 Shelby.
And that's not what these are. These are GT350s. A completely unique, and inferior, model. They're dressed up GTs basically, with little in common with the GT500. If I had to wager a guess, these would MSRP around $32,000 if they were sold at dealers.

I saw the price in a newspaper ad, I know it was $75,000, but maybe it was the first models or some "limited edition" models. Just checked the price, it is about $40k.
As for the Hertz mustang, a lot of it is unique but it lacks the power of the shelby mustang. I'd say $35k just cause they can and will.
