Heya Everyone, I'm new to this group, and wanted to give you all a big "hello." I have a Black/Black '98 Contour SVT (I've had it for a while, and just found this group.. DOH!), and live in Redwood City. I was wondering if anyone in the Northern California Branch has made a web page for their cars. I was also wondering if anyone out there could suggest a shop that has been good to them and their baby (their car) for mods and such. I look forward to hearing from you all. Cheers, Tom

Tom, nice having you in the group. We try to get together every 6-8 weeks for sumin, most of us are really busy (work, family etc.)or else I think we would all love to get together more often. If you get the chance, come out tonight and you'll get to meet some of us. Some of us won't be there as our friends from the Central Valley have a it too long of a drive. Is your car a EO or E1. You can tell by looking at your wheels, are your lug nuts exposed? Provided you have stock wheels! And you have midnight blue interior, not black  Christopher

Heya Again,
I had to refresh my memory, so I walked out to my car and looked... Evidently, my lug nuts are hidden by a small hubcap of sorts with "SVT" on it... Does this make it a E0 or E1?
And thanks for the correction on Black vs. Midnight blue.. I prefer calling it Midnight Blue.. heh

welcome to the site! Use search alot, ask questions - don't mind the chowderheads who spout off once in a while....
as far as shops go, most are in SoCal - it's hit/miss up here in the north - although some of the guys have been talking...

tom, were you driving yesterday around 4:45 on the overpass over 101 going into redwood city? i saw a black E0 svt.....
