I just did that with my current driving situation. I am paying an extra $1700(ish) more a year because of gas. I sold the car I recently bought because it dawned on me, sure this is a nice car but the cost of PAYING for he vehicle outways any gas milage increase I would see and it wasn't as fun to drive. I only work 22 hours/week at $13.10/ hour...so do the math on that and that $1700 isn't making me change my driving habits either.
