Who are you? What have you done to Kokopellian?
No change in my driving habits. I think either warmonger or bigmoneyracing posted an excel spreadsheet during the "last gas crisis" that showed it wasn't worth it to sell the old gas guzzler and buy a econocar to try and save money on gas. It took a long time to recoup the costs.
LOL! I'm just saying I was SERIOUSLY considering big V8 RWD power for my next new car purchase. I'm going to keep the Volvo as my EDD since it takes regular and averages 25 mpg. But, I've reconsidered. I have a few other projects in the works so I'm going to see those through to completion first. But mpg is definitely a factor worth considering for my next car.

You guys don't know anything.
Our Suburban costs nearly $120 to fill up. My Ranger just cost me $40 today!
Of course, we're not some poser who only has a Suburban because of the hype. We actually use 80-90% of the seating at all times!

Did I forget to mention it only gets 7 mpg with a light foot and that it has two 16 gallon tanks? That equals a whopping 250 miles before it is empty.

I am riding my bike to campus and taking the bus (which i have a free pass for). Before I drove to a meet this past weekend, I hadn't moved my car in over a week. Saves me some good money, plus I am getting exercise, so its a win-win.

i take the metro to work everyday and my company pays for it.
but when i drive i'm going to start to steal gas. i figure if exxon can post $36 BILLION in profits then they can share the wealth (and there's no GOOD explanation why prices are so high except greed).
either that or invest in a jetpack
"What did you think about that Dorothy girl?"
"The whole Judy Garland thing kinda turned me on. That doesn't make me some sort of fag does it?
"Nah baby, your money."
