The job will be easier in the long run. It doesn't look like fun to time the cams with the engine installed. You can also replace the clutch, check and fix any oil leaks while the engines out.
thanks for the website, I guess I may just remove the whole motor.. Not sure how to yet.. But if I can pull the engine and tranny out of my Cobra then I can do it on a Contour.
