Get a bunch of people together, have a lawyer draw up a letter and take it straight to the landlord(s). Once they see the potential for money to be taken out of their pockets by lawsuits, they will invest in the proper security.
I feel your pain. My SVT got egged one night and the shell actually dug into the paint. Looks like teethmarks. Also one morning I hopped into my explrer that i use for work, only to discover i was sitting on shards of glass. Someone tossed a rock through the windshield. It was raining too...sucked major @$$. But, my SVT was parked right behind it and was untouched, so i can't complain...no way for me to do anything about it though, definitley a random jerk off since anyone looking to piss me off would have went for the car.
