Sooo I live at an apartment complex that is home to mostly college students here at Grand Valley. I was really upset to see last Sunday morning that my car had been keyed and my foglight had been kicked in.
This is the second time I have had an SVT get keyed. This time is much less severe, being about a foot to a foot and a half long on the front bumper right by my driver's side headlight. My passenger foglight got kicked in, so it aims at the sky.
It really infuriates me, because through the year, there has been several instances that my things have been attacked. For example:
-Someone's car got egged, and there was eggshell shrapnel on my T-red.
-Some drunk kid threw a half-full 2-liter bottle at some other kid who was taunting him as I was walking to my T-red, and being that it was across a parking lot and he had no aim (being drunk), it hit my reflector panel and blew a hole in it.
-Our door to our apartment had a rock thrown into it and now there is a large dent that we will likely have to pay for.
Several other instances have occurred, and it drives me nuts. We pay a security deposit so we don't mess their living complexes up. Are we supposed to just forfeit all protection of our own things? There is 1, yes 1, security guard, who is usually only out on weekends, and it obviously doesn't help at all.
Does anyone know if there is any way I can hold my apartment complex liable for any of the damages? I am NOT trying to be cheap at all, I am just getting sick and tired of incurring all of these BS expenses myself!!!
That is my rant, Peace,
-Jordan
