I just heard on the news that the soldier has passed.

And Dave I agree with your comments about the "just because you served" thing, but as far as not needing to carry a gun...I think it is pretty damn obvious that he needed the gun!

Michigan CCW laws prohibit carry a pistol in a bar so anyway you look at it both Proof and the bouncer are wrong.

I think you missed my point. If he was carrying, he thought there was a reason to carry. Someone with sense would not put himself in a position like that. Under the circumstances, he probably did the right thing. But why was he there illegally carrying in the first place? Prosecute him.

Well.....has anyone actually read that the soldier was a bouncer or just there? Second...some people carry no matter where they go....ccw or not. This is not an established "bar"....so if one had a ccw they could legally carry there....noone said anything about the fact Proof did not have a CCW...everyone wants to hold him up and worship him.....eff that....

I have seen a few want to do that. Not me. He deserved what he got.

I have read a few articles and everyone I come across has conflicting information...which one do i believe? Most of the articles do place blame on proof, so believing he was at fault seems a little more credible.

This story has gone from 2 members of D12 being shot to Proof being shot execution style with someone else caught in the cross fire to both being killed at the scene to the other guy being still alive, and so on...
