Proof wasn't all too big in the rap world( he was a member of D12, a producer, and Eminem's hype man) but at the end of the day he was an individual just like all of us and unless you know the person theres no reason to dismiss him like he's some fly on the wall. He was someones son, husband, father. He had a family just like you do. What you've done is the equivlent of you Dying, and then someone saying "oh he was just a flamer, another one bites the dust...think they'll sell me his car" funny...but just rude. Lets all grow up and show some respect, if not for the person...for the people that lost him.

The first shooting was not a member of D12. I am a firm believer in a eye for an eye. He got what was coming to him. It's just to bad that this is just one more thing for people to say raps is all guns, drugs, and hoes. I can't wait for another rock star to die of a overdose so i can start a thread about how rock is all about drug use and alcohol. Wait and suicide. Gotta love the double standard.

Rock is all about drug use and alcohol. However, when was the last time a rock star was involved in a shooting? I'm sure the ratio between the rockers and the rappers isn't very close.
BTW, I don't think there is a double standard. Drug and alcohol abuse is bad, but how can you rationalize murder just because you love the music?

How did i rationalize murder? Proof put himself in that position and and got killed for it. The point i was trying to make is not all rap is like that and why do people generalize rap to one type. As far as the comment I made to Stazi sorry about that i was out of line. We are all entitled to are opinions.
