Just to kill any confusion spread by ignorance. D12 were pretty much clowns of rap. Not thugs, not violent people really, they just made funny stupid songs...and had fun as a group. To generalize all of rap in to that whole G-Unit thug thing is senseless. No disrespect Stazi, but I think you have your opinions wrong about rap. There are a bunch of different layers to it...I assume you're not a rap person so you probably only know about whats fed to the media through the TV and radio...but thats not all there is to rap. Please do some research before you jump to hasty generalizations and displays of truthiness.
Proof wasn't all too big in the rap world( he was a member of D12, a producer, and Eminem's hype man) but at the end of the day he was an individual just like all of us and unless you know the person theres no reason to dismiss him like he's some fly on the wall. He was someones son, husband, father. He had a family just like you do. What you've done is the equivlent of you Dying, and then someone saying "oh he was just a flamer, another one bites the dust...think they'll sell me his car" funny...but just rude. Lets all grow up and show some respect, if not for the person...for the people that lost him.
