Yeah I'm still driving on my FL license and IN plates. Too bad on the back of the license it says "no longer valid 10 days after change of address". So technically you and I are driving around without licenses.

Shall I send your pre-cats back up?? After my first Contour got totalled, I didn't follow through with the header project. I think they're still in the storage shed...

Speaking of no license plates. I have a temporary tag but not displayed properly (sorta unpurpose ) and I got stopped tonight. Luckily it was the one cool gsp officer alive and it was a quick conversation and we went on our merry little way.

<==== (* checking shed... *)
PM your addy. I'll ship them up to ya.
One last question... Do they do a visual or just have something that detects MILs?
If they have a sniffer/mil detector combo & not a visual, you can always try the stacked anti fouler thing like I've got. I drilled out one anti fouler so the O2 would fit, then stacked the other on the end & installed the whole assembly. $10 worth of parts, no Contour Enthusiast Light, no MILs needed.

They scan the computer. If'n you gotta CEL, you fail. I reset my computer right before I went and the sensors weren't ready yet; which the computer told the scanner; and I failed. I need to get rid of the CEL altogether and I'll be super fine. I already have homemade MIL eliminators; built exactly to a how-to I found on this site, and I've just got a different CEL code; this one for 'low voltage to O2 sensor' both cylinder banks.

I'm gonna make some MIL eliminators for you, I think. You got the skinny OEM "Standard" brand O2s in there, right? The Bosch are fatter & may not work with this mod. Once you get the package, you'll be on the road in 10 minutes. Very easy install - even if ya gots big gunz dat git in da way.

Just please verify that your sensors look like ... and not the fatty Bosch kind.

I think they're more like those Denso's. They're the stock critters.
