I lived in BC Canada for a few years in the early 90's and have seen them a few times, but nothing like that. VERY COOL!

As seen near Great Falls, Montana... a little over 47�° North Latitude...

It's truly spectacular to say the least!

Nobody has mentioned that it "dances" in the sky due to fluctuations...

used to see stuff like that in the boundary waters a lot (Northeastern MN) Used to see it a lot in Duluth to but not quite as nice because of the lights.
That's a pretty wicked shot though.

We actually get it above midland once a year... But not NEARLY that clear.
