IIRC that color was offered on the 04' as well and yes, its not very common, just like the purple w/ purple interior GTO's. I do like the color more than the purple and if your lookin' to fly under the radar, that gray is the ticket. Speaking of different colors, have you guys seen the yellow/gold they offer for the 06's, thats VERY bad ass IMO The only thing I'd do is get rid of the dealership sticker under the 6.0 badge...SIX FREAKIN' LITERS For its final second run of production they finally got it right, 18" wheels (optional) and those tailights, very sharp. I always thought it would look cool to have the the G T O in the rear valance painted body color or red to match the Pontiac badges, just my .02 cents worth. Is the car a 6 spd though

Sorry Roger, not offered in '04. In '05 they dropped three colors from '04, Cosmos Purple, Barbados Blue, and the darker Red one. They replaced those with the dark blue and grey.

The Goat has the six speed manual, with more throw than my '67 F250 The Orange is called Brazen Organe; I love it! That was the color of the first GTO I drove, however with as much as I drive, almost 25K or more a year, the color was not gonna work.

Eventually I plan to head up to WSR, as well as LACR. However I still have a ways to go till the Goat and I are ready for anything like that. For the time being, I'm just gonna stick to the canyon roads and learn this car.

If you want some good canyon roads to drive, try Sand Canyon and Soledad Canyon, Both start on Santa Clarita and make their way north. Neither has excessive amounts aof vehicles on them, and if anything, are just a really nice drive. If you really want to challenge yourself out side of rush hour, drive Boquet Canyon. It's got more traffic, but it's a lot of fun!
If you ever make your way up to WSR or LACR, let me know; we should meet up sometime.
