Alright... look.. do what I had done in my 95LX (back in the DAY!!!)

Run another switch in PARALLEL to the clutch switch so that EITHER one can pass ground to the starter/relay

Mount that switch under the shifter boot in a location that is tagged in Neutral (underneath the 90 degree turn on the shifter cables) You could use a magnetic switch and place it underneath the shifter cables, so that in N, the shifter (or a piece of magnet secured to the shifter cable) would activate the switch telling the car that you had the clutch in.
