On the 2.5l svt engine, the wire thats on the postive battery termanal, were does it go?

it goes to a little back box, down by the bottom of the egr tube,

is there a way to replace the wire that goes from the battery termanal to this black box?

or am i F*****

it goes to the mega fuse. then on the other side of the mega fuse it continues to the alt. it should be replaceable but iirc the pos and neg wire jackets are stuck together near the tranny, so replacing the pos you might have to do the neg too. i tried to "split" mine once and got nowhere fast

well after spending some time under the car, i found out what it was! there is a wire that goes from the battery to and threw the starter, then to the mega fuse!! but i broke it!!! lol and that wire that goes from the starter to the mega fuse is Hella burned up really bad, and with it hitting the egr tube, it blew a hole in that, ill post picturs later today! NOW I GOTTA FIND A MEGA FUSE! 175AMP

well here is the damage,

the wire was touching the egr tube, melted sparked and blew a hole in the egr tube,

so now, im gonna get parts, and since im down that way, im thinking about doing some other custom stuff

WoW talk about a auto welder have a Patent on this? LOL j/k. Least ya found the prob quick. And be happy youwerent leaking fuel or what not. Could of got ugly. FYI always do a wire check on your car every 3 months especially your battery cables. Had a 350 chevy that the battery cable came off arched to the starter and welded it to the block.... ( dont even know how the hell it did it) but was aclue after shutting motor off no power to starter. Took forever to break that weld, had to pull the motor.
