Okay, i've taken a bit more time listening to these, along with some follow up tuning/listening and more review.
I've played around with the xover points a bit, and found 4k to be a bit more pleassnt. I've had these for about 4 days now, and it's definitely a solid difference over the Adire Extremis. the midrange of these drivers are insanely accurate. Though they're in my doors, both sides took very little tuning (mostly the left side), to sound exactly the same to each other. My method of tuning was to listen to the side that sounded closest to my sennheiser headphones (which turned out to be the right side), and obviously tune it with the EQ to make it sound as accurate to the sennheiser's as possible. Matched it to the left, with ease. It was very easy to identify what frequencies needed to be changed. I love the way it's extremely controlled.
DEFINITELY worth $35 each.
