Wow today was fun! Almost everybody was able to stay together, we were able to find some twisties, and we eventually made it too the ocean!

It was good to meet everyone that was new, and to see the cool rides of those who sold their contours (tm-svt, anarki) even if they weren't contours smile .

Well for the next meet I will make maps and have a list of everybody's cell number and stuff like that so we can be more organized.

Thanks for those of you from Sacramento that made the drive down! I hope that it was fun.

Those of you who missed the meet, you suck! Nah J/K, but it was good fun so you should come to the next meet.

Marshall C; what happenned to your car? I hope everything came out alright!

James

We'll have to drag you all up Sierra Road or Mt. Hamilton Road sometime laugh

The drive was fun. Wiped us newbies out. Thanks to those who organized it.

BB, I thought you guys did a great job at organizing! Considering there were so many cars, it was a well done job! smile

It was lots of fun to see everyone's cars, I've never seen so many SVT's in one place at once! Today was the best (most fun and most challenging) 300 miles I've ever put on my car ever! I can't wait until the pics come out!

Sorry we had to bail early. Had to make it back to SF area by around 6 so we had to leave while y'all were down on the beach. It was pretty cool to have so many contours together and get to see everyone elses rides. Hey BB I think that maps would be great for the next one. That way we could have designated stopping points and if people fall behind everyone knows where they are going to meet at. Well thanks for planning it all and I look forward to the next one.

Ya, the wife and I had a blast. The best Norcal meet yet. After nearly 2 years of meets, it seems like the club is really coming together.

Thanks to everyone who came. I think that we should have another tech day (BBQ/ car mod session) in the not too far off future.

P.s. VERY glad to see another first gen tour!!!

Ok everyone check.... Who has the worst "Truckers Tan" on their arms? I know mine is pretty bad.

When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet. When toast is dropped, it always lands butter-side-down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the cat's feet, butter facing up. The two will hover, spinning, inches above the ground. With a giant buttered-toast/cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

Hehe, Prozach, you were looking kinda pink towards the end of the meet... smile My arms are okay, but I have a nice little sunburn on my nose.

P.S. Fwhyte & wife, you guys are cool--my Contour was happy to meet yours. Let me know how the repainting goes! (And whether or not you get rid of that chrome strip.)

Yes, I have the "Trucker's" tan too. And, my face is bright red. I am going to bring a radio next time. We were confused by all the stops. Overall, it was a good drive.

How about a run down 880S/17S to Black Road? We can take Black up to Skline. At skline and hwy 9, we can go south on hwy 9 to Santa Cruz. The club could hit the boardwalk. Then, it's just a drive up 17N/880N to get back.

Alternatively, we could take Skyline to 92 and then come back on 280 or 101.
