I recently put new tires on the SVT, Goodyear Assurance ConforTread 205/55/16, replacing my Goodyear Eagle F1 225/50/16. Since the change my fuel economy has increased dramaticly. For my first tank I got 637Km on 49L
which is 7.8L/100Km with a 534/103 highway/city split. For my current tank I'm at 305Km with half a tank to go all city driving. This is unreal, I knew that tires could make a difference but this is insane. My previous best ever was 580Km on 53L of fuel 9.1L/100Km all highway driving with my snow tires, the Eagle F1's did a best of 560Km. I should also mention my previous bests were attempted on purpose, this time I wasn't trying to be a fuel miser. I guess if I put my mind to it 700Km would be achievable
