If anyone is debating on buying this game, Gran Turismo 3 is killer. (sorry, no contour/Mondeo in this one).

95 Contour mtx V6
69 Chevy C/10 pickup 307ci
02 Honda Accord

TH Fix/ Tru Rev Induction/ Leda Springs/ Spax struts in front/ Magnaflow Muffler/ Dual angled 3" tips/ Resonator removed/ Pioneer 8200 deck/ E1 wheels/ BFG G-force KDW 215/50's/ '98 SE ground effects to be painted (for sale)

3rd gear synchro has issues.

hmmm, It is very hard to make money on the game, and that pressure button is difficult to master.

I started off with the Toyota Trueno, and beat enough races to buy a civic Type R. Once you get that car beefed up enough, take on the Type R Challenge. When you win, you get the new Acura RSX (which you can't buy). You can sell it for 7500 though. With all the extra cash, I beefed up the civic some more and took on some more races.

The next smart move I made (there were several not so smart moves) was to buy the Corvette C06. SWEET car. Take on the stars and stripes with this car. Go from there! My suggestions

First recommendation; go to fry's- they have nice madcatz handheld racing wheels for $10. The wheels list for like $29 on madcatz's web page. They even have feedback (bumps, not wheel pressure feedback tho)

Second Redommendation, start with the mazda miata. This car with a stage 1 turbo and a few other mods can make 270 HP, and with proper tires and setup you can go race on the super speedway in the beginners series championship and win $10k a race.

From the miata, I went to an RUF 3400s (Porsche Boxster), which can make up to 400HP NA, and 500HP if you turbo it, and it drives waaaaay sweet!

Hope y'all have as much fun as I am!

it's an early 99 and it's silver with the usual midnight blue interior. Have you seen me about town? I live up off Jefferson, so I'm usually in that area, tho I work down in Santa Clara, so I take 280 south every day. I can often be found doing 4 wheel drift onto the southbound entrance ramp of 280 from farm hill blvd. laugh
