Would it matter if there was no 350Z when, for all intents and purpsoes, a G35 is exactly that?

They may have the same underpinnings but they're different cars aimed at different groups of people. Do you think the same people looking for a Fusion SVT are looking for the looks both inside and out (especially the inside) of a MKZ? Does light leather and dark wood accents scream "SVT" to you? How about soft suspension? Light, Numb Steering?

Trust me, the 3.5L MKZ is no substitute for an SVT model.

The sad part is they come out with this nice 3.5 duratec, with so much potental, and they don't have an svt brand . Hmmm, maybe they will just call it the fusion s/c, like the thunderbird. Ford cannot go long without a enthusiasts division, they stopped svo only to start svt. The new 3.5 does look to be a good motor and the fusion should prove to be a great platform. I also like the looks the the lincoln, maybe I'll test drive an '07 when they come out.

Umm are you clueless?

Thats basically saying that all vehicle companies should only have one brand with one model of each body style. Perhaps a lesson on Marketing would help clear things up.

This just in: The new Duratec35 has been certified starting at a base of 265hp, not the previously reported 240hp. This puts the Duratec35 right in line with the competition.
