Sounds like almost the exact same styuff my car did when the fuel pump went. HOWEVER, on occassion there is still minor lurching so I am going to replace the fuel pressure regulartor when I rebuild the UIM/LIM this weekend. I'd def. lay money down on it being fuel-related...
