When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet. When toast is dropped, it always lands butter-side-down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the cat's feet, butter facing up. The two will hover, spinning, inches above the ground. With a giant buttered-toast/cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

I just graduated from UCD, but I am hanging out on campus right now, since I have no job, and bunch of my drinking laugh buddies are still up here.
My brother just finished his first year here but he is not into 'tours, but if you need somebody to show you around next year, I'm sure he would be glad to.

He is computer science (or so I think). I got my degree in Electrical Eng., so I might be a little bit more help in engineering related classes and such.
What major are you thinking about? I know a lot of ppl (and some of the staff) from mechanical, electrical, cs (so I know requirements for those major the best), but I could figure out everything else too.

If you wanna know more details, PM me or email me of line.

If you just wanna find out what clases to take (or you have to take), check out http://registrar.ucdavis.edu and click on 'Degree Navigator'. It's a little confusing at first, but it will general idea what classes you will be facing in the nearest future. smile

Dude, you are in LUCK. I worked in Mech. and Aero Engr. department for years. They all know me. When you get up here, stop by Bainer Hall, second floor, find MAE office and look for Joyce (she is undergrad advisor). Just say that Aleksey sent ya, and you'll be set for life, ie. good grades and stuff (j/k).
Alright, time to go and drop off my last timesheet. Keep us posted how it turns out. And you are welcome.
