Not to hi-jack this thread, but I've got a question that goes along with this. I have an Autometer, mechanical oil pressure gauge. I need to send the gauge back to Autometer to reattach the needle that fell off. Any ideas on how I should plug the end of the tube that comes into the cabin of the car, to avoid an oily dash?
