geez, you would think a car that was driven from a shop to the parking lot daily would still be in perfect shape but i guess i was wrong. Ive had my car for almost 8 years and it looks flawless compared to that. I'm embarrassed for Saleen to present that car like that.

Why?? It might have historical value to us, but lets face it. To them, it's a failed project on a dead platform and it's just taking up space. Why spend money fixing it when someone will most likely take it the way it is. And if not, then who cares...they've been sitting on it for 5 years anyway.

Dont get me wrong, I love the car. I think its a really cool concept. But from a pure aesthetics standpoint the car looks like its been ragged on. I mean, if you went to check out Saleens shop and that was one of the cars they had on display, wouldnt you be like WTF happened to this car? I know Saleen has made a name for themselves and has a good reputation, so a beat up Saleen Contour isnt going to tarnish their image, but I would just think, if your going to have a show car, at least make it presentable.

if that was the case then they should be looking to just dump it, not asking 20 large
God how Id love for them to put that thing, as is, on Barret-Jackson and embarass the sh*t out of themselves.

maybe they will, but who are they hurting trying to sell it first?
Second, the damage doesn't look that bad. I've seen worse on well maintained SVT's, including my own. So one of the vinyl stickers has a scratch in it...whatever's in the door can be buffed out. And apparently someone went a little too far pulling into a parking spot and cracked the bumper. Again, common problem. I'm sure the guys at the shop have all had a wack at that car though. I'm not saying it's worth 20k, but seems like people are nitpicking over problems that could be easily fixed. Mechanical details/problems should be the major deal here.
