Back to the future made me love that car. I know its slow, but the look of it... Dunno, I've loved it since that movie.

There are multiple DeLoreans running around my area... I see them all the time.

DMCs sell on ebay regularly from 8k to 30k. Seems like most sell for around 16K or so. I do love the DeLoreans, but I'd still rather have a Bricklin SV1. You still get gull-wings, but they pack a 351 Windsor and can be had for around 6k. Gawd I love these things!

The problem is that Saleen is just plain ugly (and I know its a matter of taste). The wing would have to go before I'd even park it in my garage. Seriously. Its about as far from the "sleeper" SVT concept I have as you can go.
Regardless, this car has serious panache among Ford enthusiasts and will probably only increase in value - as long as its not wrecked!
Is there any negotiating room with that price? I suppose not. Some crazed enthusiast will scoop it up for their Saleen trophy garage. Me? I'd hot rod the thing to near the current limits of the platform and scare the hell out of my wife (not). The truth is she'd drive it harder at the track than I would.
I wonder if it comes with an agreement with Saleen to never sell or allow anyone else to sell that body kit.

Yeah I will have to take pics this weekend. True, Back to the Future made that car. It maybe slow but boy do people stop and stare and take pictures. My buddy plans on restoring it to stock form.

mmm, stock. I love that car so much. I have 4 die cast models (1:18) from the movie back to the future.
SunStar made them; one of the first movie with the lightening rod, 2nd movie with mr fusion and folding wheels, and two from the 3rd, one with the white walls, and one on tracks.
